This profession seems to have picked me, helping people learn from life’s lessons is my passion and is a part of who I am. Long ago, I learned that money never loses value. If I asked you, do you want $20, your answer would probably be, yes. I could fold it, crumple it, or stomp on it with my dirty shoes and I would imagine you would still want the bill. At many times in our lives we fold, we crumple, or we feel that life has stomped on us. When we make poor decisions or deal with unfortunate circumstances, we feel worthless. However, no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.
While I have had personal life experiences, my professional training has given me the ability to help, and support people as Managing Director here at HALO. My professional skills range from Trauma work such as Seeking Safety, DRE Drug Recognition Expert, MET/CBT Motivational Enhancement & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, MBTI - Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Mindfulness, and Co-occurring Disorders.
With 30+ years of clinical and facilitation experience, I have had the pleasure of working with many different people, ranging from active combat veterans to local community members which allows me to be a part of their support network.
