This profession seems to have picked me, helping people is my career pattern. Long ago, I learned that money never losses value. If I asked you, do you want $20, your answer would probably be, yes. I could fold it, crumple it, and or stomp on it with my dirty shoes and I would imagine you would still want the bill. At many times in our lives we fold, we crumble, or we feel that life has stomped on us. We make bad decisions or deal with poor circumstances, we feel worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, remember as I have learned- you will never lose your value. Helping people learn from life’s lessons is a part of who I am.
Although I have had personal life experience, my professional training has created my role as Managing Director here at HALO. My professional training ranges from Trauma work such as Seeking Safety, DRE Drug Recognition Expert, MET/CBT Motivational Enhancement & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, MBTI- Myers Briggs Type Indicator, mindfulness, and Co-occurring Disorders. With 28 years of clinical and facilitation experience, I have had the pleasure of working with many different people, some of the finest active combat veterans to community members that allow me to be a part of their support. I love the outdoors, gardening, and cats. I work with all age groups across the New England region.
