Kathryn has lived in the Upper Valley for the past 30 years. Originally, she came to Vermont to work with horses and teach riding lessons. She owned her own business for 23 years. Kathryn has also worked as a paraprofessional for children with severe disabilities and as an elementary school teacher. For 10 years, she worked with a community service agency working with children and their parents on reunifying their families following an intervention by the NH Division of Children youth and Families. Twelve years ago, Kathryn was introduced to substance use treatment which changed her life. She continues to work in this field and is currently a licensed clinician in both New Hampshire and Vermont. Kathryn recently became a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Vermont. She values a true human connection with her clients. She encourages mindfulness and self-compassion in her practice, Kathryn is interested in the way early childhood experiences and family dynamics shape our view on our life experiences. She can work with you on issues involving addiction and recovery, from depression, anxiety regulating your emotions. She enjoys working with people through all stages of the life process.
